Terms & Conditions
Updated 13 September 2026
These terms explain use of the IT-Assist website and the basis on which enquiries are handled. Contact IT-Assist in Richards Bay at itassisty2k@gmail.com or 082 073 2307. Registration no: CK2024/632470/07.
Quotes and service agreements
Website descriptions and starting prices are invitations to enquire. A service commitment requires an accepted written quote or agreement specifying the work, price, payment milestones and any delivery targets. An enquiry alone does not create a fixed-term SLA. Applicable South African consumer rights remain in place.
Prices and additional services
WordPress web design starts at R3,000 and Shopify builds at R7,500, subject to scope. IT-Assist does not charge VAT. Support and maintenance packages are additional. Domains, hosting, platform subscriptions, licences, paid themes, apps, hardware and third-party fees are separate unless expressly included in your quote.
Projects, approval and changes
The project scope records pages, products, integrations, content responsibilities, revisions, acceptance and handover. Client delays or approved changes may affect cost and timing. Changes should be agreed in writing before additional work. Ownership and licensing of deliverables, client materials and third-party components are recorded in the project agreement.
Support and hosting
Support availability, response targets, included hours, backup arrangements, maintenance windows and any service credits depend on your written service schedule. Do not assume unlimited support, guaranteed recovery, 24-hour monitoring or a particular uptime commitment from this website. Obtain permission before giving access to systems or third-party information.
Payments, cancellations and disputes
Pay only against an agreed quote or invoice and verify the payee and reference. Deposits, cancellation terms, refunds and fixed-term obligations must be explained in the relevant agreement before acceptance. Nothing here removes a remedy or cancellation right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Raise a complaint with IT-Assist first so we can investigate; this does not limit access to an appropriate regulator, dispute body or court.
Website use
Use the website lawfully and do not attempt unauthorised access, disrupt services or submit malicious files. Troubleshooting information is general guidance; stop if a step could risk data, safety or business operations and contact us. External services have their own terms. South African law applies, subject to mandatory rights.
